Vintage Fountain Pen Restoration
Our service queue is currently closed. We will be sure to announce when it opens again. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to the increasing cost of replacement parts, import fees, and tariffs, as well as the risk involved in restoring certain brands that are mechanically complex or known for being more prone to breakage than others, we have had to narrow our intake to simple lever and button filler pens, Parker pens, and some Sheaffer pens.
If your pen is leaking ink, broken, missing a part, or has nearly any other issue, we can almost always perform a complete restoration. We have an extensive network of vintage fountain pen part retailers, so if it is a replacement part you need, we will do our best to source it. For simple repairs, we keep a stock of latex sacs, diaphragms, and common parts on hand.
*We will always inform you if we are unable to find a replacement part, if your pen may be too fragile to risk repair, or the cost to repair is significantly higher than the value of the pen.

Fountain Pen Refinishing
Unveil your pens original beauty with a complete refinishing service. Great care is taken and multiple steps occur to deep clean, deoxidize, remove surface scratches, polish, shine, and protect your pen. When you get it back, we guarantee you’ll fall in love with it all over again!
Below are before and after pictures of an Ebonite Cartier Diablo Fountain Pen, circa early 2000s, that spent 13 years in the salty, humid environment of Hawaii. The pitting and oxidation were deep within the ebonite, but after some love, it looked as good as new!
Restoration Services Pricing
We have recently restructured our pricing to add shipping costs and simplify invoicing.
Restoration prices include return shipping using the USPS flat rate small box, disassembly, cleaning, repair of the filling system, and a light polishing of the pen to reduce surface scratches and tarnishing of metal parts. Our prices include the replacement of ink sacs, diaphragms, and rubber washers/gaskets, but do not include the replacement of other internal or external parts. Once received, if we discover a pen needs additional parts for repair and we are able to source it, we will contact you for your approval.
We only perform repairs on fountain pens. We specialize in American brands and may not have the tools or be able to source the parts necessary to make certain repairs for other brands.
